Job Description

The BMS Project Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of multiple Building Management System (BMS) projects across a range of commercial and mixed-use developments in Central London.
Project values typically range from 100k to 10m and include new installations, system upgrades, and integrated building automation works.

This role involves full project lifecycle responsibility--from technical scoping and client liaison through to delivery, commissioning, and handover--ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and deliver BMS projects (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, etc.) from pre-construction through to completion Coordinate with clients, design teams, commissioning engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers Prepare technical scopes, cost estimates, project programmes, and method statements Oversee project progress, budgets, procurement, and site activities Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and commissioning standards Provide on-site technical support and resolve issues promptly Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in BMS or building controls project management, ideally in a client-facing delivery role Strong technical knowledge across BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Cylon, or Siemens Background in electrical or mechanical building services (design, install, or commissioning) Excellent organisational, commercial, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple live projects across varied stages SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent health & safety qualifications preferred Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Services or Electrical Engineering)
