Independent Board Member - Bron Afon




Are you a qualified accountant and strategic thinker with a passion for community impact? Join Bron Afon as an Independent Board Member!

Remuneration:

5,000 per annum

Commitment:

~10 meeting hours per quarter + up to 4 days/year for Board development

What you'll do:



Shape Bron Afon's vision, strategy, and governance Challenge and support executive decisions to drive performance Champion our community mutual model and represent Bron Afon externally Chair the finance sub-group and contribute to key committees

What you'll bring:



Chartered accountant (UK) with senior-level experience in regulated environments Understanding of social housing, community regeneration, and risk management Strong communicator, relationship builder, and collaborative leader Commercial acumen and the confidence to challenge and influence at Board level Experience in property development is desirable, enabling you to effectively support and challenge our efforts as we pursue our strategic goal of building new homes.
