What you will do:
Ensure that all Back of House Standards are met.
Ensure that all Back of House staff are trained as required.
Ensure that Back of House budgets are controlled.
Responsible for the Contracted cleaners, porters and polishers.
Responsible for the collection and delivery of all laundry.
Receive deliveries correctly by ensuring that they are to the correct spec, weight, quality, quantity and temperature.
Input of all daily invoices onto Marketman system and approve for payments as/if required.
To file all invoices that require products to be updated on Marketman system, for the F&B cost controller to update.
Raise credit requests as required.
To understand and comply with food hygiene regulations, Health & Safety regulations and HACCP.
To practice and manage FIFO (First-in First-out) principles of food and beverage stock management as applicable.
To ensure that all areas such as the goods receiving are, back corridor, dry store/shelves, and fridges are cleaned and kept tidy daily.
Check and monitor all fridge & freezer temperatures.
To assist and support the BOH team with tasks such as linen deliveries, waste collections, glass crushing and cardboard bailing.
To attend all statutory training as required by the company.
To carry out any reasonable request made by a member of the management team.
Who you will be:
Previous experience of working as a Back of House Manager within a hospitality business
