Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, adhering to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment Prepare ingredients and components for meal assembly, ensuring freshness and quality Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure compliance with health regulations Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing meal assembly and plating Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with inventory management and storage of food items in accordance with safety standards Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene Previous restaurant or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Willingness to learn new techniques and improve culinary skills

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
