Duties
Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
Follow food safety protocols and hygiene regulations at all times
Support the team in meal assembly and plating for service periods
Restock supplies and organise storage areas efficiently
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of kitchen equipment
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy setting
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior team members
Experience in serving or customer interaction is a plus but not mandatory
