We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organisation and will involve regular reporting and collaboration with other departments.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions in the accounting software.
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all discrepancies are addressed promptly.
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting as required.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Support the finance team in other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, or QuickBooks is helpful.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with team members and external stakeholders.
