Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Cowdenbeath. This role is vital to maintaining our financial health and supporting our mission of excellence in engineering and fabrication.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable. Utilize accounting software such as Sage, and for financial tracking. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Maintain organized financial filing systems. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Support audits by providing necessary documentation.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software (Sage). Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills for collaboration with team members.
