About The Role
Due to our ongoing growth, were looking for Booking Coordinators to join our team to help fulfil client bookings and send the right interpreter to client jobs.
As a Booking Coordinator, based in the Operations Department, you will provide support to all areas within the business, as well as communicating with our interpreters and clients. The role offers a great opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills within a fast-paced growing area of the business.
We are looking for highly organised, self motivated, quick thinking individuals to join our successful and ever expanding team. The ideal applicant must be a dynamic individual who has the ability to work under pressure, multitask and is a great communicator and takes pride completing tasks to a high standard.
This role is an excellent starting point within the business, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to look behind the scenes of a fast-growing Language Service Provider.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
To manage a large amount of inbound & outbound calls in a professional manner, booking interpreters onto relevant jobs, resolving queries and liaising with other departments
Calling clients showing great telephone etiquette and customer care
Ensuring an interpreter is present for every booking
Build rapport with clients and interpreters
Multitasking between calls, alongside handling a large volume of emails from clients and interpreters
Prioritising tasks within the team, showing organisation, quick thinking and flexibility
Troubleshooting to ensure we provide the best possible service in unexpected scenarios
About You
Previous experience of working in fast paced, pressurised environment (essential)
Experience of working in a customer focused environment (essential)
Effective listening, communication, and strong negotiating skills (essential)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Able to multitask and think critically
Excellent attention to detail
Can use initiative in a pro-active manner
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Can take instructions and carry out tasks efficiently and to a high standard
Good time keeping
Social and outgoing and easily able to build relationships
Proficient with all facets of MS Office
Have an eagerness to learn and develop skills
