Job Invitation: Bookkeeper (Property Development & Lettings) - Part-Time
We are a growing property development and lettings business company based in West London, and we're looking for a senior Bookkeeper with hand on experience and UK accounting skills who can take control and manage our diversified financial systems and give us clarity on every pound in and out.
As a part of bookkeeping role, you will be proactively managing the finance of company financial backbone of the business - from ensuring tenants' rent is tracked, to forecasting development viability, to managing loan repayments and cash flow. What You'll Do:
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions across developments and lettings
Manage invoices and process accounts payable and receivable.
Track rental income and tenant balances, ensuring timely collection and reconciliation
Reconcile bank and credit accounts on a regular basis
Prepare management accounts and financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow forecasts)
Build and maintain reconciliation sheets, ledgers, and financial models in Excel
Monitor loan schedules, repayments, and interest costs
Assess cash flow requirements and contribute to development viability analysis
Preparing tax filings for reviewal from an external Tax Adviser.
Liaising with an external Tax Adviser and implement any strategies recommended or advised.
Support payroll and staff expense processes
Assist with internal audits and year-end closing procedures
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a bookkeeper (property or accounting/finance experience a plus)
Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills

Willingness to Learn; this will go a long way in our company.
Meticulous attention to detail and a habit of spotting discrepancies
Excellent organisational skills and time management
Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial priorities
Stable career history with references to show reliability
Degree in Accounting/Finance or certification (e.g., AAT) preferred
Strong written & verbal communication
