For more than 100 years, the Durham family has been a trusted name in the fruit and vegetable industry. We source the very best produce for our customers from New Covent Garden six times a week. Our company, Peter Durham & Daughters Limited, prides itself on its commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.

A bookkeeper and financial controller required by a family-owned business. This position would suit somebody who has worked in a busy environment but now wishes to take things just a little easier. You will have considerable experience and take great pride in the accuracy of your work. You are a person of strong character, with a happy disposition and of course reliable.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, responsible for all financial requirements of the company.

Monthly P&L, quarterly VAT returns, payroll, short term cash flow forecast, payments to our suppliers.

The role also involves handling day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and office administration duties.

Hours of work

5-6 hours per day Wednesday to Friday (Early morning hours by arrangement)

Starting 25.00 per hour. Reviewed at 1 month.
