The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting our team with timely financial reporting. You'll work closely with the owner and operations team to help us stay on top of budgets, invoicing, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile bank, POS, and credit card statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Monitor staff wage costs and flag any discrepancies
File and organise receipts, invoices, and other financial records
Liaise with accountants for year-end reports
Ensure VAT returns and other filings are accurate and submitted on time
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
Strong knowledge of Xero and Sage Accounts
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting financial data
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
Solid understanding of UK and ROI VAT regulations
Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential information
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Pay: 24,420.00-34,311.42 per year
