We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as Xero
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
Liaise with external auditors during audits as required
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting are desirable but not essential
