We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. Experience with accounting software is essential, and Lithuanian language proficiency is highly preferred. Full training will be provided where needed.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile bank statements and verify all financial entries
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare financial summaries and reports for management review
Support audit activities by providing required documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Collaborate with other teams for budget tracking and expense reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero)
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Lithuanian is a must
Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are a plus, but not essential
