Vacancy: Part-time Exact Bookkeeper - Chess UK (Gravesend)

For our UK sales organization Chess UK, located near Ebbsfleet International (Gravesend), we are looking for a part-time bookkeeper to support us 2 days per week. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and have regular virtual meetings with the CFO based in the Netherlands.

Here at Chess UK, or how we're colloquially known- Mymesh, we specialise in providing the best wireless control systems for a multitude of different industries. From shopping centres to train stations, office blocks to swimming pools, hospitals to social housing- we can and do cover it all.

We specialise in smart lighting, being the backbone to all buildings, and step 1 in a long chain of events making the world a smarter and more energy-efficient place one building at a time.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for the daily financial administration of Chess UK and will contribute to the reliability of our forecasting and cash position. Your responsibilities will include:

Forecast reliability

: analyzing and improving sales and production forecasts, in collaboration with the sales team.

Invoicing

: ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to customers.

Purchasing

: placing purchase orders based on the sales forecast.

Cash management

: monitoring incoming and outgoing payments and supporting cash flow optimization.

Data accuracy

: ensuring accurate and up-to-date data in Exact Online, in close cooperation with the sales team.

What do you bring?

Expert experience with

Exact Online

(required). Strong skills in

Excel

, including pivot tables and reporting. Affinity with

forecasting

and the

CRM module

within Exact. Independent, accurate, and structured working style. Strong communication skills in English. Experience in a commercial or international

B2B environment

is a plus.

Working environment

You will work on-site at our office in Gravesend (2 days per week). You will report to the Operations Manager of Chess UK. You will have a dotted line to the CFO in the Netherlands, with regular virtual alignment.
