Job Description

Suffolk Tax Accountants are looking for a bookkeeper to join the team to provide our clients with a professional all round service whilst maintaining the personal touch.

Due to the continued growth of the practice we are looking for a candidate to join the business support team, ideally with all round bookkeeping experience, but not essential as training can be given.

We service a variety of client types accross varying industries, we mainly use Xero Software, but also use Sage, Quickbooks & some bespoke systems, experience in these softwares would be an advantage.

The candidate will progress to manage a port-folio or regular bookkeeping clients, with the assistance of the team as required.

Main duties to include:

Bookkeeping on a variety of softwares VAT Return Preparation Assisting the accounts department with specific projects Ad hoc attendance at client sites
We are keen to support our staff in their developement and are happy to offer the opportunity to complete qualifications such as The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB).

Position can be based from our Hadleigh, Ipswich or Felixstowe Office.

Full or Part-Time positions considered and salary is negotiable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,375.00-27,500.00 per year
