What does the job involve?

A typical working day could include:

Providing a bookkeeping service for a wide range of clients including sales, purchase and nominal ledger maintenance/processing Bank reconciliations VAT return preparation Advising clients on the use of accounting software Communicating with clients and managing their queries Preparing reports for clients

What do you need to bring to the table?

Ideally we would like you to have:

Strong experience of managing ledgers and preparing reconciliations Confidence with accounting software Customer service experience and the ability to develop strong working relationships with clients The ability to work unaided to strict deadlines
AAT level 4 qualification would be preferred, if not qualified to level 4 AAT we would expect the right candidate to be qualified by experience.
