Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper for a Boringdon Park Golf Club and Trethorne Golf Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of both clubs. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting and proficiency in various accounting software packages. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Duties

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using recognised accounting software soecifically Sage and Xero. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly recorded. Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review. Assist with payroll processing and related documentation. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and organisational policies.

Skills

Proven experience with accounting software, specifically Sage and Xero Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management. Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards within the UK. Prior experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role is preferred but not essential.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
