The Part-Time Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the finance function. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience in bookkeeping within a manufacturing or similar environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, including purchase and sales ledgers. Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Prepare and submit VAT returns Liaise with external accountants. Assist with monthly management accounts, P&L, and balance sheet preparation. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Journal entries and end of year accounts.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in bookkeeping (manufacturing sector preferred). Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Microsoft Office. Strong understanding of VAT Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Qualifications
AAT Level 3 or equivalent (desirable). Previous experience in a similar role.
