Franklin Management are a block management company looking after the Service Charge and general management of approximately 60 buildings across the Midlands.
We are looking for a solid bookkeeper to work with our Financial Controller to undertake the day-to-day bookkeeping of the buildings.
This will involve daily banking (payments and receipts) uploading weekly supplier invoices which will be forwarded electronically.
Dealing with queries internally and externally.
Raising Bi-Annual Service Charge Invoices from Budgets provided by the Building Managers.
Agree Bank Balances from accounting software to statement where possible
Generating basic financial reports, such as Expenditure against budget when required
PERSON SPEC
Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognise errors
Mathematics skills for accurate record-keeping
Administrative skills for filing financial records
Computer literacy, especially familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and accounting software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks and Sage Business Cloud.
Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with customers, suppliers and other employees within the business.
Communication skills, including the ability to explain financial matters in accessible terms to non-financial team members.
This role is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, proactive, and eager to contribute to the organisation's financial stability. Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting is essential, along with familiarity with relevant software packages.
