Fixed-Term Contract (3-6 months)



Kickback Coffee and Flour Water Salt are looking for an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role will support four businesses across our group, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial records during the cover period. This is a hands-on bookkeeping role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple entities in a fast-paced, values-driven food and beverage business.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping across the group, including:

Maintaining accurate financial records for multiple businesses Performing regular bank reconciliations Processing supplier invoices and expenses in line with company policies Processing and reconciling customer and wholesale payments Maintaining credit control with wholesale customers, including follow-ups where required Supporting month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations Ensuring data is accurate, up to date, and audit-ready Liaising with internal stakeholders and external accountants as required

Systems & Tools

Proficient in Xero or a similar cloud-based accounting platform Confident using bookkeeping software and digital expense systems Desirable: experience using Order Space or similar wholesale ordering platforms

About You

Proven experience in a bookkeeping role, ideally within hospitality, retail, or FMCG Comfortable managing bookkeeping for multiple entities Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Confident working independently and managing priorities across limited hours Reliable, professional, and able to hit the ground running Flexible regarding the length of the fixed-term contract (3-6 months)

+ Monday: 08:30-15:30
+ Thursday: 08:30-15:30
Fixed-term maternity cover: 3-6 months (with some flexibility) Estimated start date: February 9, 2026
