Summary



The core purpose of this role is to create and maintain a complete, accurate and systematic record of all the company's financial transactions. This role involves controlling the company's financial systems and ensuring all legal and compliance standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities



Raise and send client invoices using Xero and file within company's filing system. Reconcile, record and allocate all income and expenditure including Credit Card expenditure and bank transactions using Xero and any other relevant company systems. Record and pay invoices, obtaining approval from relevant parties and allocating to correct cost centres. Liaise with payroll dept on a monthly basis including notifying any changes, including leavers, starters and overtime. Monitor deposit payments and ensure relevant parties are notified when client payment is received. Monitor and chase up outstanding invoices. Prepare monthly cash flow reports. Attend and prepare for monthly finance meetings with Directors. Prepare and submit VAT returns. Input relevant pricing data into Xero Projects. Log and pay staff expenses. Assist with monitoring expenditure vs budget and raise any issues with Directors where relevant.

Qualifications / Experience

Uncompromising attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy Experience as a bookkeeper in a similar role Previous experience using Xero (essential) and Xero Projects (preferred) A helpful, can-do attitude and collaborative approach to working in a small team Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe Maintaining a professional demeanour and fostering a positive work environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
