Hurley Engine Services Ltd are looking for a Book Keeper to join our busy and friendly company, ready to start at the beginning of February.
We are located on an Industrial Estate off Brassmill Lane in Bath, BA1 3JL. As a company, we Sell, Service and Repair all sorts of Garden Machinery as well as Industrial Engines to both the Retail/Domestic sector and Commercial sector.
The job role itself will require you to carry out the following tasks amongst others;
Process invoices as well as payable and receivable transactions
Carry out end of month procedures
Keep up to date and accurate records
Prepare financial reports as required
Training will be provided by our existing Book Keeper, who is retiring at the end of February, on our fully computerised system. The right candidate will need to be;
Organised with great time management skills
Have strong communication skills
Professional and accurate
Confident in answering phones and making calls to Customers and Suppliers
Proficient in Microsoft office
Able to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
Experience in the role is essential. Knowledge of Sage Payroll and a member of the IAB is preferred but not mandatory. Salary will be discussed and negotiated dependant on said experience.
The role is Part Time with a fixed 20 hour working week. For the first month, these hours will be set alongside our existing Book Keeper for training purposes however can be flexible thereafter.
