Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

We are a friendly and growing accountancy practice looking for a driven and motivated Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis which could become full-time in the future. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and has experience using cloud-based accounting software.

We are specifically looking for someone who has had a variety of bookkeeping experience and ideally someone who is currently either working in practice or has their own bookkeeping clients.

Key Responsibilities

Providing bookkeeping services to a portfolio of clients Working with

Xero, Sage

, and similar bookkeeping software Assisting clients with

Making Tax Digital (MTD)

requirements Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate records Dealing directly with clients and responding to queries Supporting the wider accounts team as required

The Ideal Candidate

Previous bookkeeping experience (practice experience preferred) Confident using Sage, Xero, or similar software Understanding of MTD Comfortable communicating directly with clients Well organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Positive attitude and a strong work ethic Living within 15 miles of our offices
