Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper based in our office, this role is vital in managing our financial records and ensuring accurate bookkeeping aligned with our company's standards. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining our financial health and supporting our operational goals.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as Sage 50,
Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports.
Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Collaborate with the finance team to improve bookkeeping processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software including Sage50.
Strong understanding of accounts payable and general ledger management.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work on own initiative .
Knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations is preferred.
Strong communication skills.
