The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven
Bookkeeper
to manage our day-to-day finance operations and support the preparation of monthly management accounts.
This is a
part-time role (approx. 2.5 days per week)
- ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being part of a small, entrepreneurial team making a global impact.
What You'll Do
Upload and code supplier invoices in Xero, ensuring accuracy and correct VAT treatment
Manage sales invoicing, supplier payments, and expense reimbursements
Track stock purchases, work-in-progress, and conversions to sales
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
Maintain accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers
Prepare month-end reports (Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow) in Excel
Process payroll journals, VAT returns, PAYE/NIC and CIS submissions
Liaise with external accountants and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting
What We're Looking For
? Proven bookkeeping experience (ideally up to management accounts level)
? Strong working knowledge of
Xero
? Intermediate to advanced
Excel
skills
? Great attention to detail and a proactive approach
? Confident communicator comfortable working independently
? Experience in manufacturing or inventory accounting is a plus (not essential)
