We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. Responsibilities
Manage and record financial transactions using Xero
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledger entries
Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently and accurately
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing procedures
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as required
Maintain organised documentation of all financial records for audit purposes
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an organisational setting
Proficiency in accounting Xero software
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential
