Local development / construction company based in Midlothian, we are looking for a book keeper to work part time , experience in Xero , CIS, construction essential
Duties:
- Manage accounts payable processes and ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices
- Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure all outstanding balances are resolved
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to streamline accounting procedures
Skills:
- Proficient in using accounting software Xero
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
