We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. Duties
Maintain and update financial records
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is correctly recorded
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
Support audit preparations by organising relevant documentation
Monitor and manage overdue invoices to ensure timely payments
Collaborate with external accountants during financial audits and reviews
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an organisation
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential
