We are a growing self storage company dedicated to providing secure, flexible, and friendly storage solutions for both personal and business customers. As the business continues to expand, we are looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator / Personal Assistant with bookkeeping and accountancy experience to join our small team.
The Role
This is avaried and rewarding position that combines office administration, finance and bookkeeping, and personal assistant duties supporting the company director. You'll play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day running of both the office and the wider business. Competitive pay commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
Managing general office administration, including calls, emails, and correspondence
Assisting customers with enquiries, bookings, and payments
Handling day-to-day bookkeeping and financial record keeping
Processing invoices, receipts, and supplier payments
Managing payroll, expenses, and VAT submissions (where applicable)
Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting
Liaising with external accountants and suppliers
Supporting the Director with diary management, scheduling, and correspondence
Maintaining databases, tenant agreements, and company records
Assisting with on-site organisation and occasional project coordination
Providing confidential administrative and PA support as needed
About You:
Experience in office administration and bookkeeping/accountancy
Confident using accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage)
Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Professional and discreet, with the ability to handle confidential information
A friendly and proactive attitude, comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
