We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper on a part time basis 2-3 days per week, to work at our office in Send. Working on a freelance basis reporting to the Managing Director starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and co-ordinate the annual audit and prepare annual accounts
- Prepare annual consolidated group and company accounts
-Prepare tax computations and ensure timely payment
-Prepare monthly cashflow forecasts for the financial year
-Monitor cash on weekly basis and produce short term cash forecasts
-Prepare quarterly VAT Return
-Prepare company secretarial/Company House filing as required
- Authorise invoices, cheques, work orders, service orders and purchase orders
Required
- five years plus bookkeeping experience
- Either AAT qualified or QBE
- Experience with a range of accounting software packages
- Accounting knowledge - accruals, prepayments, and year-end journal
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- confident communicator
- ability to work independently
