Good knowledge of book keeping practices, data entry in excel spreadsheets. Reconcilliation of bank accounts and preparing the quarterly VAT return.
Specific business training will be given to the successful candidate. This role would suit someone from an accountancy background who wants a part time role to supplement their primary role.
Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software
Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
Completing VAT returns
Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
Recording any inconsistencies to Treasurer
Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
