Book-keeper



Radlett, Herts. Full- or Part-time applications considered. Mon to Fri business hours + 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rated as applicable). Salary market rate and commensurate with experience (pro-rated as applicable). Please state salary expectations on application.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:



Book-keeping role using our custom ERP system (KIT). Managing the Sales & Purchase Ledgers. Assistance with setting budgets and cashflow forecasting.

Sales Ledger



To raise invoices and credit notes for orders in an accurate and timely manner. To maintain the sales ledger by liaising externally and internally to ensure accurate data. Maintain processes to resolve queries and enable timely payment To manage client account settlement via calls and emails Allocate receipts from inbound payments accurately maintaining and updating customer account records. Credit applications Statements to clients to chase for payments Taking payments on card over the phone or in store Monthly reconciliation with nominal accounts Manage client commissions and rebates

Purchase Ledger



Managing supplier invoice reconciliation and entering expenses Reconciliation of supplier statements Reconciling supplier invoices to PO list and entering expense invoices Completing account applications with suppliers Monthly reconciliation with nominal accounts

Business Management



VAT detail and summary reconciliation/checks Prepare cash flow forecasts (readily available in KIT) Help with preparation and management of Budgets Raise journals for relevant expenses

Qualifications



Book-keeping qualifications AAT studier or qualified by experience

Personality



Eye for detail Able to work to deadlines and under pressure in a fast paced environment Good all-around communication skills. Self-driven results-oriented with a positive outlook. A naturally organised individual who critically assesses own performance. Mature, credible, reliable, tolerant and tenacious - with a sense of humour! Well-presented and business-like. Able to get on with others and be a team-player, similarly able to work on own.

Personal Situation



Able to commute reliably to office base. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.

Pay: From 24,420.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
