Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team based in Reading. The Bookkeeper will play a vital role in managing our financial records and supporting our mission to provide safe, effective patient care through innovative models.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software Completing a range of bookkeeping activities up to the management accounts Prepare and process invoices and weekly/monthly payment runs ensuring timely payments and accurate account reconciliation Complete bank reconciliation Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review Support month-end and year-end closing processes Collaborate with external accountants during audits and provide necessary documentation Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and organizational policies

Skills

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of financial regulations to the UK Strong communication skills
