We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions in the accounting system.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Maintain our Staff pension
Agreeing our ledger and supplier statements
Assist with year-end audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage is required.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
