A growing specialist contractor is seeking a capable, self-driven
Bookkeeper & Office Manager
to take ownership of finance and office operations. This is a
stand-alone role
suited to someone confident working independently in a fast-paced SME.
The Role
You'll run day-to-day finance, manage office processes and support business operations as the company scales. Accuracy, initiative and professionalism are essential.
Key Duties
Full bookkeeping in
Xero
VAT returns
and compliance
CIS
setup, verification & monthly submissions
Payroll & pensions
Bank recs, journals, ledgers
Credit control & supplier payments
Monthly reporting & support to leadership
Front-of-office: calls, emails, office coordination
Job files, compliance & purchase orders
Essential Requirements
Experience 2+ years in a similar role -- stable history
Software Xero experience
Industry CIS experience
Knowledge Strong VAT understanding
Skills Admin & telephone communication excellence
Presentation Professional, smart appearance
Working Style Confident working independently
Location Fully office-based in Warwick
