Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in . In this role, you will play a vital part in managing our financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our accounts, supporting our mission to deliver seamless demolition services with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including data entry and transaction recording.
Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements using SAGE accounting software
Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
Assist in payroll processing and expense management.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with external accountants during audits and tax filings.
Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes within the company.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in SAGE accounting software.
Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of basic payroll procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with construction industry financial practices is a plus.
Good communication skills and professional attitude.
