Job Overview


We have a vacancy for a Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant to join our team based in our Abercorn office. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in practice - assisting clients with their record keeping on software like SageAccounting, Xero & Auto Entry. This would be a varied role including preparation of VAT returns , managment accounts, year end accounts & supporting clients with their book keeping. As we are seeing more changes in the accountancy profession from HMRC and technology there is scope to build on current knowledge by way of training and/ or obtaining professional qualifications.

The candidate:



We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise their own workload. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and have the ability to build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

You can either be qualified by experience or have relevant professional qualifications. However, experience of working in an accountancy practice is essential .

Job Types: Full-time or part time, Permanent.Flexitime

Salary is commenserate with experince

Pay: 22,500.00-24,558.00 per year
