Bath Soft Cheese

are looking for an enthusiastic chef to become Stall Supervisor for our hot food stall Bath Dairy.

Working within Borough Market boasts

social working hours

and being part of a bustling market community. We believe this role would suit a

strong chef

who no longer wants to work the long intense hours of cheffing.

We are a

family company

, based in Bath, producing

artisan cheeses

which win many awards, including World's Best Cheese. We are looking for somebody with a

passion for cheese

, to bring their strength and

creativity

to our menu. We are serving macaroni cheese and tartiflette using our own cheeses and are always on the lookout for new ideas!

Our stall has just been refurbished and we are looking forward to a busy summer and having a strong new member to join our fun and dynamic crew. The job requires setting up our stall daily so you must be used to arriving and getting stuck in.

Normal working hours:

40 hours

Wednesday - Sunday 9.00-17.30 (Latest 18.00)

(Saturdays we start at 8am)

Pay :

Real London Living Wage of

30-35K



Bonuses work out as 20-30 per day on most weekend days.

Potential of 100 extra a week in bonuses.

We are looking for an

organised and committed chef

to manage and organise our current team.

We are really looking to push the business forward, whilst providing nourishing

West Country produce

within London's Borough Market.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and safety. Lead and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Prepare and cook a variety of dairy products, maintaining quality and presentation. Manage inventory and food production processes to optimize resources. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while delivering exceptional hospitality. Collaborate with team members to enhance service and customer satisfaction.
