Moishe's Bagelry is a family-owned bakery & market stall based in the world famous & incredibly vibrant Borough Market which has been in existence for over 1000years and is visited by over 20 million people per year.

We specialise in the baking and selling of challah, bagels & pastry's and are fast becoming the 'go to' destination for our traditional breads and 'Danish' pastries.

We are looking to recruit a FULL TIME retail supervisor to join the market stall team (NOT bakery)

Hours

- Tuesday to Friday & Saturday 8am till 5.30pm, Sunday - 8.30am till 4.30pm. You'll need to be able to work a min 5 shifts per week.

Pay - 15 per hour

The job consists of 2 elements

Supervisor element :-

monitoring & ensuring correct stock is arriving from the bakery driving the sales health & safety and hygiene standards are maintained on the stall & storage areas rota's ensuring presentation of the stall & display is of the highest standard staff training inc product knowledge

As you'll be working independently on weekdays, the day-to-day responsibilities are:-

setting up our market stall. displaying the bakery and patisserie items. serving and advising the customers on the different types of breads and pastries. customer interaction and communication are crucial and key (and what makes the job fun). clearing away at the end of the day before returning the stall to storage.

You'll need to be

- Comfortable lifting, carrying and bending in order to setup and close the stall. YOU MUST be reliable and good with timekeeping (this is 100% crucial). Be comfortable working independently as week day shifts are solo. A confident communicator who enjoys talking to the team, customers and selling. Ability to lead by example. Good problem solver. Organised.
