Bottle Washer & Sterilisation Role - Join Scotland's Sustainable Dairy Movement
We're looking for someone to join our production team at Mossgiel Farm, helping us make sure every bottle of Mossgiel Organic Milk is safe, clean, and ready to share across Scotland.
What you'll be doing
Collecting bottles and containers returned from our milk delivery runs
Inspecting bottles for breakages and sorting them into two groups - those needing intensive cleaning and those ready for a quick wash
Washing, sterilising, and date-coding bottles before storing them in our clean room, ready for the filling team to use
This is a hands-on role that's key to keeping our milk flowing out to families, cafes, and shops across the country.
The reality check
You'll be working outdoors for part of the shift. That means sunny summer mornings and, yes, chilly winter ones too
It's physical work with plenty of lifting and repetitive tasks
But if you love getting stuck in and keeping busy, you might just love it here.
Why join us?
Be part of a passionate, close-knit team changing the face of Scottish dairy
Learn how we're creating a more sustainable future - from the way we graze our cows to how we use solar energy to charge our electric vans
No boring silos: we don't do "that's not my job" at Mossgiel. Everyone pitches in to get things done
Get a real sense of pride knowing your work helps keep Scotland's milk supply sustainable and waste-free
Shifts
12 hours, 6am-6pm
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Who we're looking for
Someone who works well in a team and has an eye for detail
You're comfortable with physical, outdoor work and enjoy keeping things clean and organized
How to apply
Send us a few lines about yourself. A CV is great if you have one - but just a note about your hobbies, interests, and aspirations works too.
