Main Objectives

Helping to nurture the players within your age group to reach their potential in a fun, safe and challenging environment.

Delivering or supporting high quality coaching to sessions to develop all players within your age group. Sessions should be in line with Senior Managers expectations and recognize vision and philosophy, and what is suitable for the players. Ensuring that players and parents abide by the Club's Code of Conduct and Respect guidelines Support the recruitment processes of bringing players to the FC in line with our core values and trial process with fairness and without bias. To liaise with other age group coaches around best practice, players going through age group transitions etc. Complete all admin processes, session planning methodology, reviews and other operational requirements on time and to a high quality.

Summary of Duties

To work where possible with the Boys teams to develop and embed a transparent and productive philosophy and 'on pitch identity'.

To be present at training sessions.

To manage accurate monitoring of records for all activities are maintained.

Ensure governance within the MK Dons Community Trust Boys Talent pathway is adhered too

To support the relationships between club, player, and parent
To store and maintain the kit and equipment you are given as part of your role.

To support the football development department with delivery and coordination when required.

Essential

FA DBS FA Safeguarding Children Course Introduction to Coaching Football/Level 1 National Goalkeeping Course FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) or FA Emergency First Aid Experience in coaching Boys' football. Have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children's needs. Own transport essential.

National Goalkeeper Coaching Qualification

An appreciation of Long-Term Player Development Attending relevant CPD Knowledge and understanding of working with young players U7 to U18+ Ability to work in a team environment Understanding of various governing body football coaching plans and initiatives

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
