The Branch Development Manager will adopt the CPRE Leicestershire growth & marketing strategy that has been approved by the Board of Trustees, whilst ensuring continual review and improvement of the plan. The individual will also build the operational team required to deliver the strategy, as well as establish key relationships and partnerships with Leicestershire businesses and other organisations.
Key accountabilities:
1. Adopt the growth strategy and dedicate working time towards achieving the key results
2. Recruit operational team members alongside the Board of Trustee
3. Take full ownership of the marketing plan and work with both the Board and other team members to deliver and continuously improve it, including:
Leading digital and social media marketing for the Branch focused on driving awareness of our charitable activities for both members and Leicestershire communities
Delivering member and supporter engagement events across the County and through online webinars
Producing measurable digital and print campaigns with the support of a content marketing team member, to increase impact and memberships
4. Develop relationships with local businesses and establish corporate partnerships in line with the strategy
5. Update and improve the CRM and other marketing systems, focused on growing our supporter base
6. Continually expand knowledge of the matters that affect the local Countryside
Minimum knowledge and experience required:
Essential
A highly influential, articulate, communicator
Passion for the Countryside and natural spaces
Professional background in marketing and/or business development
Proficient in creating and developing measurable marketing activities
A natural leader experienced in managing people and recruitment, likely within a small business or organisation
Strategic and analytical with experience of using data to create improvement systems
Creative and adaptable thinker who is able to easily solve problems as they arise
Experience of using CRM software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised and well presented
MS Office / Google Docs / Spreadsheets
Desirable
Knowledge of matters affecting local countryside
Knowledge of graphic editing software such as Photoshop or Canva
Experience of using webinar platforms
Experience using email platforms such as Mailchimp
Working knowledge of SEO and digital advertising
Experience of working with charities
