As a Branch Manager, your role is pivotal to the success of the business, ensuring that the branch work collaboratively to deliver excellent and professional service to both external customers and internal partners.

Key Responsibilities
Leading and motivating a large team to put their best foot forward this includes line management responsibility for the branch team
Full responsibility for all sales, operations, resource and customer service within the branch in order to ensure that we hit our daily sales targets and operational KPIs
Have an enthusiastic willingness to have a daily involvement in HR, performance management, succession planning and recruitment our people are our most valuable asset
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and branch standards we need you to lead from the front and drive our safety first culture
Actively demonstrate behaviour in line with our Company core values

Work collaboratively with our field based teams to ensure that we are maximising on customer opportunity
Average of 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8 and half hours between 8am and 6pm and alternate Saturdays from 8.30am to 12.30pm

This is a great opportunity for you to join us in this full time permanent Branch Manager role in our Stafford Branch.
The Branch Manager runs the day to day management of the store. This includes ensuring that sales targets are met by actively seeking customers and sales, by the guiding and motivation of other staff to achieve the same and by making sure customers receive great service. It also includes ensuring all company standards, procedures and policies are adhered to - all of which help maximize overall commercial performance.
Our ideal candidate would have experience and knowledge of supervision and / or management in a retail environment, be motivated, enthusiastic with experience of delivering high levels of customer service in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
Managing and motivating the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
Pre and Post operational checks; ensuring shop areas are ready for customers, all signage is correct and up to date, ensuring close down procedure is adhered to, quality checks made throughout the day
Possessing good product knowledge or being enthusiastic to learn to enable you to effectively communicate with customers to be able to sell and up sell
Delivering excellent customer service and engaging customers to support a culture of customer service and selling
Responding effectively to customer complaints and comments
Ensuring banking is carried out regularly and accurately
Updating store staff on store performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
Making regular tours of the sales floor, talking to colleagues and customers, identifying urgent issues and solving them
Organising promotions, displays and events
Working flexible hours across the trading week in accordance with the needs of the store
