About your role
As the Brand & Acquisition Campaigns Senior Marketing Manager, your role is to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives focused on enhancing brand visibility, consideration and driving customer acquisition.
Advertising / Brand Campaigns: Accountable for all GPS Brand Advertising Campaigns, from the overarching annual campaign strategy development and management, to owning the execution across upper funnel ATL and mid-funnel campaign activity.
People Leadership: Passionate people leader with the ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing direct report. Equally effective at team management, ensuring your direct report has a clear role, defined responsibilities and controls.
You'll work closely with Fidelity's media and creative agency partners, developing comprehensive campaign plans for your channels, forecasting brand and acquisition performance, driving budget efficiency and leading in-campaign reporting. You'll collaborate with the performance marketing team to ensure integrated planning, and work with the product marketing team to ensure campaign plans support business objectives. You'll remain up to date with the latest channel innovations, best practice creative execution and competitor campaign activity.
Key responsibilities
Campaign Strategy and Development: Design, implement and optimise innovative brand and acquisition campaigns that resonate with the target audience to deliver brand and acquisition objectives. Ensure continuous performance optimisation by keeping abreast of latest opportunities and threats, adapting the strategy accordingly.
Campaign Management: Overarching advertising/campaign strategy & management, including Upper Funnel ATL creative &, media ownership.
Campaign Creative Assets: Overseeing the creation and management of campaign creative materials, and ensuring alignment with always on activity.
Media Planning & Execution: Responsible for campaign planning of upper funnel ATL (TV, BVOD, CTV, Radio/Digital Audio, OOH, Cinema) + Campaign Only mid-funnel channels (e.g. OLV, Social Video).
Budget Management: Manage brand and acquisition campaign budget, ensuring cost-effective execution, with continued laser focus on driving efficiency. Campaign Planning & Project Management: Develop comprehensive plans for channels responsible for, including phasing and forecasting brand/acquisition performance. Oversee cross team planning with wider team and further leverage collaboration in Project Meetings (led by you) to guide the execution of marketing campaigns.
Management Information (MI): Lead in-campaign reporting meetings and Post-Campaign Analysis (PCA). Continue to strengthen reporting foundations to enable full funnel modelling in the future.
Competitor Campaign Analysis: Staying abreast of the strategic insights from competitor analysis & benchmarking (marketing creatives, media spend and incentive strategy).
People Leadership: Passionate people leader with the ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing direct report.
About you
Key competencies and experience:Technical Marketing Expertise: You have extensive experience of planning and managing ATL media and creative, with preference for wider brand marketing experience across media partnerships and sponsorships.
Agency Management: You can confidently and effectively manage third party partners to drive best practice and maximise value from the relationships, ensuring agreed outputs are delivered.
Collaboration: You proactively establish effective working relationships built on trust. Able to effectively understand stakeholder needs, facilitate communication and coordination with stakeholders across departments for campaign support. Able to inspire and influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders at all levels.
Driving Results and Innovation: You have a results-oriented mindset, comfortable with navigating obstacles, capitalising on opportunities and bringing others on the journey, with a track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and a proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms. You're passionate about driving innovation, always looking for transformational opportunities.
Budget / Performance Analysis and Optimisation: You have experience of managing large budgets, optimising marketing spend to drive optimal ROI, including the use of attribution models (econometrics/media mix modelling). You're proficient at identifying data-driven insights to inform optimisation, prioritisation and inform broader campaign strategy, and can proactively highlight gaps to solve and opportunities to assess.
Project / Campaign Management: Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring campaigns launch on time and within budget. Naturally curious, with relentless attention to detail to spot innovation opportunities and quickly address problems or performance gaps.
Communication Skills: Effective communicator, experienced in presenting strategies and building productive relationships. Leveraging data and insights to sell in ideas, influence and collaborate with impact amongst a wide range of stakeholders.
People Leadership and Development: Passionate people leader with the ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing team, inspiring team members to reach their full potential. Highly effective at fostering collaboration and building empowerment, whilst ensuring effective execution and alignment with site performance marketing goals.
Industry Experience: Experience working within Financial Services and understanding of UK FCA compliance requirements would be an advantage but not essential.
