individual to join our small team as a

Brand & Communications Assistant

. This role is a great opportunity for someone who has

strong design and writing skills

and is looking to develop their marketing experience in a supportive, people-first environment. As part of a small business, you'll have your core responsibilities, but you'll also get the chance to jump into varied tasks, from designing client workbooks, to shaping LinkedIn strategy, to pulling together a last-minute slide deck.

We work from home and from our office in Penkridge and this role has some

flexibility for location and hours worked

(minimum 3 days and maximum of 4 days per week), although we see it as an important to get together as a team at least once per week - typically on a Monday.

For the first three months to get you up to speed with who we are, provide training on the role and how we work (as well as get to know you!) we'd like you to be in the office each day.

Responsibilities



Manage and schedule LinkedIn content for two brands Plan, design and write LinkedIn posts (including graphics and captions) Bring fresh, creative ideas for content that is engaging and people-focused Maintain consistent brand identity across all visual and written content Design brand resources including workbooks, proposals, case studies and presentations Refresh website copy and make small edits when needed Support email outreach and email marketing to potential clients Support with general design or communications tasks that arise in a small, fast-moving team

About You:



Creative individual with a good eye for design and layout Confident writer with excellent spelling and grammar Enjoy working on your own initiative High attention to detail Experience with MS suite in particular PowerPoint Comfortable learning new tools quickly and adapting to different tasks

Nice to haves:



Experience with Canva Experience with WordPress A portfolio with examples of creative work or social content

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.71-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 28 per week
