We are Marple's longest-running bakery. We made a fantastic range of traditional breads, including Sourdough, Cobs, Bloomers, Muffins and Tea Cakes.

We're looking for a skilled baker with experience working on the table.

You must be reliable and hard working; work ethic and motivation are vital.

About You

Proven professional baking experience Strong knowledge of fermentation, dough handling, and bread-making techniques. Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks. A team player with good communication and leadership skills. Early mornings, Saturday's and changing bakery demands. Passionate about real bread and delivering excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and confections. Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed. Assist in food preparation and kitchen organisation to maintain efficient operations. Mix, shape, and bake a wide range of breads and pastries Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the bakery. Support team members in daily tasks to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor stock levels, ingredients, and wastage Uphold the company's reputation for quality through attention to detail.

Qualifications

Experience in food production, baking, or culinary roles. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous. Passion for baking and creating high-quality products. Good communication skills and team spirit. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the bakery.
