Break Cover Supervisor
Job Description
Gwenllian Education Centre are looking for a lunch time supervisor to join our staff part time at our independent school based in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 10:15 - 1:30pm
Due to the nature of our business some understanding of the needs of our pupils on the autism spectrum would be advantageous.
Duties will include:
- being responsible for ensuring dining areas are clean
- supporting children with autism during their breaktimes
- assisting school cook with additional duties
- assisting the Manager with any additional duties such as resource making and cleaning
The position would include regular contracted school hours, access to our in-house induction and training programme, 13 weeks paid holidays a year and an opportunity for additional hours if required (during the school day or after).
The successful candidate would be able to relate well to children and adults and work constructively and flexibly as part of a team. They will also have the ability to work well under pressure and independently.

Gwenllian Education Centre is an independent autism specialist school for children between the ages of 5 - 19 years old. We educate pupils across the Autism Spectrum working closely with specialist professionals such as Behaviour Analysts, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.
