Camp Glide is a local wrap around care provider for multiple schools in the Horley, Crawley Reigate/Redhill, Merstham and Banstead area.

About Us

Camp Glide provides high-quality wraparound care for children in primary schools, including after school clubs and holiday programmes. Our focus is on creating a positive, supportive, and safe space where children can thrive.

Duties

Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Lead and support games, creative activities, and free play. Promote a safe, inclusive, and caring atmosphere. Support with snack preparation and club setup/pack-down. Build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff. Encourage positive interactions among children. Maintain a clean and organised play area.

What we are looking for

Previous experience working with children in a play or educational setting is preferred but not essential. A genuine interest in child development and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all children. Ability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. A relevant qualification in childcare, teaching or playwork would be advantageous but not mandatory. Willingness to undergo training.

Hours:

Morning shifts:

approx 7:20am-8:50am (Monday-Friday).

Afternoon shifts:

approx 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Monday-Friday). 1.6 - 22 hours per week, with opportunity for additional hours during holidays. Term-time only with optional holiday club work available.
