Playworker - Breakfast & Afterschool Clubs (Dual-Site Role)

Split between

Fairlawn Primary School

and

Sefton Park Infants and Juniors School

Hours:

15 hours per week covering both clubs during term time:

Breakfast Club

- 7:45 - 8:45 (plus set up and clear down time)

Afterschool Club

- 3:30pm - 6:00pm (plus set up and clear down time)

We're looking for an energetic, caring

Playworker

to support children aged 4 - 11 across two of our wraparound care settings in the Bristol area.

You'll help deliver fun, active, and inclusive sessions that give children a brilliant start and end to their school day. This role is split between two nearby schools so it's ideal for someone local with their own transport who enjoys variety and building relationships.

Day-to-day tasks include:

Leading fun and engaging play activities Supervising children aged 4-11 in a school club setting Ensuring safeguarding and safety procedures are always followed Serving snacks and promoting healthy habits Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Aged 18+ (due to insurance and Ofsted regulations) Experience working with children in schools, nurseries, or play settings Confidence supporting play in a structured but fun environment Valid (or willingness to obtain) enhanced DBS

Desirable (but not required):

A childcare qualification (or working towards one) First Aid, Safeguarding, or Food Hygiene certificates Full UK driving licence (for flexibility across sites)
