Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Breakfast and After School Club Manager/ Lead to work in our busy and growing breakfast and after school club program.

The Role

To work as part of a team and to support your colleagues and children, through demonstrating good role modelling. Creating a fun and stimulating environment for children to enjoy after a day of school

The manager/ lead is required to work at our Breakfast club and afterschool club Monday - Friday. There is some flexibility here, which we can discuss during an interview.

Principle Duties -

- Work and support staff in the club to plan, prepare and provide creative and appropriate play opportunities in a safe and caring environment.

- Have a good understanding of current guidance and legislation relevant to the job.

- Provide full care for the children including delivery of children to school, collection of children from school and hand over to parents at pick up.

- Consult with the children and involve them in the planning of activities.

- Provide support and supervision to play workers and designated team members.

- Administer first aid as appropriate.

- Learn and understand the agreed club polices

- Build good relationships with parents, staff and third parties.

- Monitor and maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment within the club.

- Be responsible for ordering of resources for the club.

- Ensure all club records are completed and maintained.

- Liase frequently with the company directors.

SVQ Level 3 (or similar) or above.
